So I am on the hunt for the perfect chocolate chip cookies, that's my excuse at least. I haven't found 'the one' yet, I may never (story of my life,) but I'm trying. And these are really, very good.

Start out with 1 cup of butter, 3/4 cups granulated sugar, 3/4 cups brown sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 2 large eggs, 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon baking soda.
Add 2 1/4 cups of flour.
Add 2 cups chocolate chips.
Bake at 375 for 8-10 min.
