Kale Chips!

5:00 PM

Kale is extremely good for you. I love kale chips.  Every time I crunch down on one I feel like I am going to become some kind of fitness god. I just have to figure the fitness part out.

This is possibly the most simple way to make kale chips.

You Will Need:
Kale (Everyone says to use dinosaur leaf kale, although my grocery store doesn't carry it so I just usually buy the curly leafed kind.)

Any kind of salt, I use Himalayan.
Coconut oil, You can use olive oil if you prefer.

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.

Take two tablespoons of coconut oil and put it in the microwave.

Cut the stems off of your leaves, you don't have to, but I prefer it that way.

Take the coconut oil out of the microwave.

Wash your leaves.

Dry your leaves, you don't want to cook them wet or they will come out soggy.

Put your leaves in a bowl and pour your coconut oil and salt on. Use as much salt as you would like.

Mix your leaves up, I use my hands, but you can just stir them up. Make sure all of your leaves are coated with your coconut oil or they wont cook properly.

Lay them out flat on a pan and put them in the oven. I usually set mine on the middle rack.

Cook for about 15 minutes, or till the edges get a little brown.

Take them out and eat them up! They are so good.
